Visa Checkout is now works in over 100 big name stores like UnderArmour, Neiman Marcus, Staples, Pizza Hut, Starbucks, Walgreens to name a few. The digital checkout option delivers a seamless checkout experience for customers since its launch and continues to grow. Visa’s data shows over 10 million consumers and 600 financial institutions in 16 countries are taking advantage of the new platform. In a world of security breaches, the world’s largest credit card company has added tokenization to keep their cardholders safe with advanced security technology. If you’re worried about information being shared with third party marketers, Visa states they will never share this sensitive information and protects your information through industry standard encryption with multilayer authentication. Payment methods authorized are Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.
“Our highest priority is the security of our customers’ transactions, whether they are paying online or in a physical store,” said Tom Kunz, senior vice president of PNC Digital. ““That’s why we are working with Visa to integrate their innovative security technology, Visa Token Service, into Visa Checkout on our site.
